St. Paul VI, Pope from June 1963-August 1978, was a complex man who led the Church during turbulent times in society.
At our novena, our guest speaker will be Dr. Geraldine Rohling, Archivist, and Curator of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.. Dr. Rohling will help us to understand our patron through stories about him and the memorabilia she will bring.
We will learn of Pope Paul VI’s love for and commitment to the Church, his special care and concern for immigrants and the poor, and his commitment to dialogue with other Christians and other faiths.
St. Paul VI was a champion of evangelization and believed the Church has much to offer the world. How will our parish reflect the virtues of St. Paul VI in our world today?
On the eight-day of the Novena, Monsignor Robert J. Vitillo, Secretary General of the International Catholic Migration Commission, founded by Pope Paul VI, will be our VIRTUAL guest speaker along with Dr. Geraldine Rohling.
Please join us for this special event!
